The idea has been pressing on my mind for years to start a blog, but every time I sit down to do it, I wonder where to begin. Organizing anything, much less my word or time; is not my expertise. So, here goes nothing. My personal rants, tips and tricks, inspiration, and overall experiences all in one...
As you probably guessed, I am a modern day house keeper. I am hired by local families to do the chores around their house they either don't like to do, or in rare cases just cannot find the time to do. Most people would argue they really are clean people, but life just gets too busy; when in reality, I've learned most people are just like me, and they just don't like to clean up their own mess! Yep, I'll admit, cleaning my own house is not on my list of hobbies.
So, you would wonder; what gave me the desire to become a house keeper? Truth is, money was tight and I thought it was an easy 'side' job. Little did I learn, housekeeping is manual labor at it's finest. After two years of cleaning solely on weekends, and working full time for a large corporation; my path was rearranged for me. Now, I'm a full time housekeeper and proud to admit I've become one of the highest demanded housekeepers in my town.
